LITTLE SNIPPETS FROM ME
I had an ez support board for five years, for ppl with CFIDS, FMS, CMPD, and other auto-immune disorders, called SafetyNet. In March of 06' I finally closed that community. However ... I have an interactive writing community called Writer's Block, that I hope you'll visit by clicking on the button link below.
In my duration at ezboard, I was also asked to be the admin of a grief and loss support board called Grief and Loss NZ. I and a friend attended Hospice training years ago and with the help of my Dr. started up the local Hospice where we live, so taking over another friend's grief & loss board came easily.
I've met some really wonderful people in these last several years from these ezboard communities that I hope will carry over to Yuku communities as well.
I'm married (40 years - ooofdah!!) this year, w/two adult children. I enjoy the friends I've made on message boards through these many years, and sharing bits of life with them. I hope you'll choose to be a friend too.
Come on over to Writer's Block when you can, and if you are a writer or would like to become one, post your masterpieces anytime. And if you'd like your special piece formatted with music, graphics etc...you may use the Expressions email click link on any page there to submit it to our editor/s for that purpose. I enjoy writing, creating, crafts (if ever I find time), socializing, intellectualizing (not too difficult with peas for gray matter) upon life's bigger truths ... my family, my furry family, friends, and a close relationship with my maker. I love doing computer graphics (although I'm not great at it) and learning new things. CSS has been a challenge however!! I almost think I've missed the boat on that one, but still trying!! HTML hasn't been nearly as difficult to grasp for me. I'm an old dog still trying to learn new tricks. And every once in awhile I may get that accomplished. I'm anxious to meet new friends. Well, here we are...

A month later, no worse for the wear.
At least I hope.
Matilda's stitches are all out and she has been carefully adjusting to total darkness. She gets around pretty well. She's still a beautiful little furry girl and we love her dearly.
Isabelle has had her surgery (spaying) and is doing well.
We are progressing slowly, with a renovation so that we can move in the near future & things are going ok.
My health is up and down with many more downs, but... -

Our little matilda's right eye has been removed as of yesterday. We brought her home and it's been harrowing. What with four other cats and two dogs, one, a new almost 5 mo. old Jack Russell, it's been nerve-wracking to keep everyone who's curious at bay. And she's been walking around like she's on Mars due to meds.
I haven't slept for four nights solid, and I'm pretty worn out.
I am just praying for sleep tonite or I'll be a gonner come... -

How some ppl can call themself "Christian" and not follow one of the basic tenants of christianity to "love one another". They have "classes" now, to help the mis-understandings that have existed thru the years towards gays and lesbians.
Here's the thing, had any of them truly possessed the savior that I know and love, into their hearts to begin with ... said classes would be moot.
Anyone who can just stand in judgement of another's life,... -

I finally decided that having a separate page for blog is NOT convenient! So here I am.
I guess today, the main thing on my mind outside of the hurting people that have been ravaged by storms/floods et al ... and their personal well-being, is the well being of our little Matilda.
Now, some would think it utterly ridiculous to be so concerned about a cat, but she is very special (as are all our little furry ppl). She showed up daily, where we used to live . She was so friendly and...
